Let US all know, if YOU know what THESE are. I will tell you one thing, they're VERY old.

I was making key-chains....... . and they turned in to little bowls, then they turned into baskets with a handle, then they turned into whisker baskets . Then I put eyes on them, and now they're Kitty Whisker Baskets. They're not very big, so you have to think of 'tiny' whimsical things to put in them.

A friend gave me this delightful fabric.........I wanted to use it for something that I would use and SEE a lot.........it worked perfect for a sink curtain!

This is my new yard art. An old sink from Blanco, Texas atop an old rabbit hutch filled with random, old pots and pans. Come see me and I will give you a tour of the back yard where there are even more sinks. Why do I collect sinks? I don't know. I just do.

This is not the lovliest thing I have ever done, but it wasn't too bad. Just like the old saying goes.......there is no bad weather, only improper clothing. There is no bad berry picking, just bad clothing. I look like granny moosh mosh, but I didn't get thorns and scratches! These berries were on the side of a hill RIGHT beside the ocean. Ain't that crazy? The pan I dropped my lovely little berries in was the very pan I was brought up with. It is the pan my mom made macaroni and cheese in, boiled gizzards and gravy, potato soup and mashed potatoes. It is aluminum so I don't use it anymore.

I am sewing and finishing up some aprons dresses for a Hutch customer today. When I am finished with them, I am going to watch our holiday Martha Stewart dvd's and sew on the buttons and snaps and whatever else I find to fix them up! I also have a MUM family to work on........ We have the windows closed and the ac on. We could live without the ac today, but it sure feels nice. I had pizza for breakfast and lunch, I am doing an odd load of clothes right now..........an old tablecloth, a cloth shower curtain, some t-shirts, some dresses I saved from the sale we had and some doilies..........I am going to make curtains for our bedroom out of the table cloth and shower curtain........we have dark Egyptian curtains in there right now, and I want to lighten things up a bit. BUT, I'm not going to buy curtains. This will be much more fun! I planted the bulbs I got for free and it rained a little bit yesterday.......so hopefully they will bloom and grow. I have some TALL irises ...

This is the cat that didn't work out. We named her Clara...........for a few short days she was at our house.......hiding, running, ears back, tail twitching.........

My new bunny...............does it look like chocolate to YOU? My new neato pan. I love old pans like this. I got the clothes pins too because they looked very old.........kinda worn and used. I trimmed Lydia's hair so she could brush it and do it herself. It is some kind of THICK. Cocoa-flan cake our new church member's brought to our house. I hemmed some pants for them and this is what she gave in return. I asked if she had any more pants they needed hemmed............this was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The top was perfectly 'flanned'! OH YUM.

Our new little bird and skillet............. These are the spouts? off of the old sink in our back bathroom. James bought new ones, actually they look old, so he did real good! Our newest birdhouse.

Do you know what I have to do to my hair to get it like I like it to be? Wash it. Don't blow dry it. Just do the bangs. Go to Randall's and buy leeks and turnips. Go to Bucee's and get coffee. Blow dry it. Curl it with the big hot rollers. Put it in a weave with red rose bobby pins. Help cook a Redwall Feast. Take the rose bobby pins out before taking a short nap. Brush it an put it in a plain pony tail. Go to a college choir that is singing at the Clarion. Go to Kroger for some allergy medicine. Take it out of the pony tail and go to bed. Get up, drink some coffee and put it in a barrette! Wha-Lah. It's like I want it. Also, the weather has to be just right. Kinda windy, not too windy. Chilly but not too chilly. Kind of sunny. Whew.

I probably don't agree with her philosophy on life.......but she sure draws pretty.

I found some socks that match my new favorite top! Yay. I had to buy the silly things in a pack of 3 to get them..........but it was worth it. I smiled real big when I put them on for the first time. So, my 'Good and Plenty' outfit is complete. (I got some pink hair skrunchies, too.)
