just a song

Jesus is Tenderly Calling You Home ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Christian Hymn Lyrics Online © 2008 Carden's Design. All Rights Reserved. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesus is tenderly calling you home Calling today, calling today, Why from the sunshine of love will you roam, Farther and farther away? Calling today, calling today, Jesus is calling, is tenderly calling today. Jesus is calling the weary to rest, Calling today, calling today, Bring Him your burden and you shall be blest; He will not turn you away. Jesus is waiting, O come to Him now, Waiting today, waiting today, Come with your sins, at His feet lowly bow; Come, and no longer delay. Jesus is pleading, O list to His voice, Hear Him today, hear Him today, They who believe on His Name shall rejoice; Quickly arise and away.

A merry heart..............

I love Autumn....even in April

Have you seen the little lady Who has lately come to town? She came in gold October When the leaves were dropping down.

Church Camp Out

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beautiful Park.....Green and Very Bike Friendly I finished a project on Thursday.....I had some help. Klarisa eating worms.   She didn't know we had good stuff to eat....  The insides of the shelters were a bit different than what we are used to.  Just call him McRobber I was very glad that D and K got to come....we had a great time with each other....looking forward to many more good times.
Dreamin..........
Just keep on a 'dreamin' For all the winter's blight, The bee knows where the bloom is, And the lilacs are in sight.
The Ocean
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep Sea, and music in its roar: ......... Roll on, thou deep and dark blue Ocean--roll! Ten thousand fleets sweep over thee in vain; Man marks the earth with ruin--his control Stops with the shore;--upon the watery plain .................. Unchangeable save to thy wild waves' play-- Time writes no wrinkle on thine azure brow-- Such as creation's dawn beheld, thou rollest now.
There was a pretty dandelion With lovely, yellow hair That glistened in the sunshine And in the summer air.
Read and Apply
Another powerful cause of hindrance in the growth of the life of God in the soul is that we make general resolutions of improvement, but neglect to extend our efforts to particulars. We promise ourselves that in the indefinite future we will do much in the way of reformation, but are found doing nothing each day in cultivating piety. We begin and end a day without aiming or expecting to make any particular advance on that day. Thus our best resolutions evaporate without effect. We merely run the round of prescribed duty, satisfied if we do nothing amiss and neglect no external service which we feel to be obligatory. We resemble the man who purposes to go to a certain place, and often resolves with earnestness that he will some day perform the journey, but never takes a step towards the place. Is it at all strange that that person who on no day makes it his distinct object to advance in the divine life, at the end of months and years is found stationary? The natural body will grow wi
games
If you are looking for a game to buy, get Apples to Apples.   It is very fun and there are lots of variations. And you can play without having to study law to know the directions.
I did it!!
I figured it out I finally figured it out. I can make a real drawstring bag. I saw it on Martha Stewart. Then went to her site and learned even more. Then totally messed it up. Then figured it out. Now I won't forget. I gave this, my first one, to my pink friend. (rabbit not included)
journey
We have not journeyed all this way across the centuries, across the oceans, across the mountains, across the prairies, because we are made of sugar.
Songs
I love these old children's songbooks.  I have a whole pile of them....and probably gave less than a quarter for each. When all the kids were little,  I would find the tune with my flute, then teach the song to them.  I still hum and sing these little songs.   We all especially liked Ducky Duddle. He was a duck!!  It didn't matter if he got wet or not.  He didn't have an *I don't care* attitude, he just  knew what he was....a DUCK.... and that a little water would not hurt anything. Over In the Meadow tells us about mothers and their babies... One song on page 16, which was written in 1938, encouraged kids to get out of bed and play in the moonlight!  IN THE STREET !! Now that seems like a rebellious and dangerous thing to do. Hippety Hop to the barber shop....to buy a stick of candy.... Come with Me....let's go skaaaaating skaaaaating Quiet is the Night Quiet is the night, soft is the breeze, Dim is the moon over t
Spiritual Exercise
Let all be exhorted earnestly to seek much of an humble spirit, and to endeavor to be humble in all our behavior toward God and men. Seek for a deep and abiding sense of your comparative meanness before God and man. Know God. Confess your nothingness and illdesert before Him. Distrust yourself. Rely only on god. renounce all glory except from Him. Yield yourself heartily to His will and service. Avoid an aspiring, ambitious, ostentatious, assuming, arrogant, scornful, stubborn, willful, leveling, self justifying behavior. And strive for more and more of the humble spirit that Christ manifested while He was on earth.
On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue. ~Author Unknown Breed not a savage dog, nor permit a loose stairway." - Talmud "The more people I meet the more I like my dog." - Unknown "When you feel dog tired at night, it may be because you've growled all day long." - Unknown "If dogs could talk it would take a lot of the fun out of owning one." - Andy Rooney "When a dog wags her tail and barks at the same time, how do you know which end to believe?" - Anonymous (boy, isn't this the truth?) "Money will buy you a pretty good dog, but it won't buy the wag of his tail." - Henry Wheeler Shaw "When a dog runs at you, whistle for him." - Henry David Thoreau If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else's dog around. ~Will Rogers Anybo

and my most favorite quote

IF YOU CAN'T RUN WITH THE BIG DOGS, STAY ON THE PORCH.
