Saturday morning. My sons. Caleb----Pastor/Preacher Daniel----Policeman

One Night at the Clarion

Daniel graduates from Police Academy with the second highest test score in the class.   He also won the *Top Gun* award........   Our favorite police.........(on the right)   What a happy evening!   Lots of friends were there to enjoy the occasion.   I was pretty proud of Daniel for doing so well........it's always good to see good fruit of home-school efforts. Top Gun trophy and Lydia (Daniel probably sold cookies to the trophy maker in town years ago!)     Klarisa, Daniel's wife has worked full time so Daniel could go to school and have good time to study.  I'm proud of her too........   Off to have some snacks and fellowship. We got Daniel a rechargeable flashlight.  He passed the Tclose? (State of Texas Exam)  test yesterday (Monday).......he needed a 70 and got 86.  He is now ready for a job...........his good boss and Christian friend will employ him back at the plants until someth...

Daniel and Donut

I got a rabbit one year for my birthday.  I named her Amelia and called her Millie.  She was a beautiful REX rabbit.  She had curly eyelashes.  She died in childbirth......and I haven't had a rabbit since.  Daniel my son WANTED me to get another one......but I just didn't want to.  Donut came our way..........and Daniel and I fixed up a cage yesterday for her.  Mostly Daniel did it, but I learned how to twist galvanized wire.  She can be flat on the ground in this cage so she can nibble grass, or we can put it up on bricks in case it rains.  Daniel put some bricks in there for her, and she sits on one all the time.  He is coming over today to fix her second level.  It was a beautiful day yesterday to *do* a rabbit cage.  We had a Sonic break and went to Girourds for locks and screws.  We ate Gobstoppers and visited.    We still need a safe box for her to sleep in, have babies in, be warm in, and be...

TIMBERRRRRRRRR

(this particular tree branch stayed here for quite a while, this is where the chain saw gave out) When we moved here, the enclosed area by the bathroom windows was solid grass. Well, I fixed that. I have planted, pulled, dug, raked, picked, bricked, decorated, unbricked, drug, seeded and watered this area for years and years, and it just mainly did what it wanted. This was what it wanted: airplane plant, ice plant, sorry charlie (weed-ground cover), shamrocks, fern, shrimp plant and hardy iris bulbs that hardly ever bloomed. I've had three trees come up on their own in this section too. One was a mulberry tree. I trimmed that tree often.......one switch at a time. Then came an ash tree. It came up and grew really tall in just a few years. It dropped sooty mold on all of my flowers (?ha), so we cut it down. Then this tree grew. I kind of like it at first, then came to not like it at all. It has little yellow fuzzy things that drop yellow everywhere, then it would dr...

late afternoon

Daniel got home around 4:30. This is him explaining to me how much money they took out of his check for taxes. I think I got up and left. I didn't want to hear it. I did some more laundry. This is white lilac scented liquid Tide. I wonder how or why I bought this stuff. I don't even need to use fabric softener when I use this.....it smells fresh and yummy. I worked on an order I got on the Hutch.........it is taking me a while to get it all finished, but I am enjoying it.

trash day

somebody threw away a perfectly good boy.

random shots

it's all we have........... my 3 guys me in my favorite top Jolly playing horses with A. and L.

a trip to Lowe's

this would be a fan duster and my son i told him we didn't need it. special orders are heavy

ceiling

thinking, planning lifting, stretching drilling, finishing this would be an optical illusion, or just a messed up picture.......it is the ceiling of the kitchen totally ready for paint and yes, it is osb board. we like it. We did the walls of the office with it and the front bathroom ceiling. It paints up really nice, and it looks like a log jam.

Daniel's Day

First trip without mom or dad! He took Lydia to Salvation Army thrift store to buy a ukulele! Trying out his new phone. Just like Johnny Carino's..............
