I let these two plants grow in a garden all winter. I thought they were turnips. I guess not. Very unedible, they are hard as a rock.

don't touch your screen..........

This is an old table in my garden. As you see, it is where I perch my old birdcages..........but as old as the table is, I bet it is lead paint, so don't touch your screen.

waiting for summer..........................

from Lydia...........

Doesn't this look YUMMY?? I can't wait for Summer so I can eat Watermelon! I LOVE to eat Watermelon when we're watching Fourth Of July fireworks at Target,,, or at the beach or,,, at home! I like the seedless kind when I'm in the house.. But when I'm outside I like it to have BIG seeds in them.. You all probably all know why!! :oP My Granparents dog Dusty died! :( He was a poodle.. I remember him when I was four years old! I'm really sad! I put some grass and some yarn in my bird's cage, and they have been making little a little nest in their food container... We have already empteied it of food.. :rolleye: But they take ALLLL of the stuff out, then they put back in again! Just leave it in there!!! But I think they are getting a little bit more used to me... I wish they could sit on my finger.. But I don't think they would want to! The books that I re-read most is the Redwall Series by Brian Jacques. That's the reason my comment name is Hon Rosie...

may I suggest

Pacific Rose You just gotta try this apple. It isn't mushy, it isn't so hard you can't bite into it, it is not tart, it is not too sweet, it is nicely perfect. If you're gonna eat an apple, why not make it a good one?

How would you like...........

just how would you like it if a major fast food place changed the color of their hot sauce packages, just for YOU. I can tell you, it feels pretty good.

brighten the corner

brighten the corner where you are brighten the corner where you are...... or bookshelf.

I'm in love.............

with a weed. Maybe because I know what the name of it is.........Henbit.........isn't that a nice name for a weed. Does it look like a weed to you? They are all OVER our yard. I hope to let them bloom and grow, then cast off seeds for next year.

Surprise!!!

Olivia's surprise party went off without a hitch, unless you consider cold cucumber soup a hitch. Olivia thought her and I were going shopping. We eventually did, just not when she thought. Each of the church women made scrapbook page for Olivia.........it was interesting to see everybody's personality come out in the page they made. What a nice memory for her to have of the church ladies! It was a fun evening and very special. Thanks Heather and Kimberly!

yay

little name cards with a 'deep' line of poetry Heather found for each of us........... presents!!! tulips, her favorite flowers!

what we ate........

The table was beautiful............ Fun stuff! Heather and Kimberly had things very nice for all the women of our church to celebrate Olivia's 21st. birthday party! A salad, as you can see somebody gave me their onion. It was a trade, they took my tomato. Cheesecake with raspberries and blackberries. And a chocolate truffle. Did I say chocolate? the official menu: course I Light, chilled cucumber soup course II garden salad with a variety of vinaigrettes course III cheese filled manicotti served with fresh bread course IV creamy cheesecake, a dark chocolate truffle and fresh fruit

18 years..........

We moved here 18 years ago. Caleb was turned 5 the day we moved. He got quite a thrill riding in a moving van! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Except maybe Wisconsin in October, but I'm not gonna complain because it is beautiful here more days than not. Except for October. Does it look like my husband has a bottle of Tobasco stuck in his suit? It's his tie. You can't see the alligator that is trying to swallow the bottle.

I made a doll.

this was my first doll I can see now how others enjoy it! Her feet are a bit square, the next one might have rounded off feet. Does it really matter I wonder? I made her for Olivia's surprise birthday party. Her name is Isabel. Not the Catholic Isabel that financed C. Columbus to ride around in ships. We lived outside a small farm town in Kansas called Isabel. That's what the doll is named after. She has to smile whether she likes it or not. That's a good thing. Smile whether you like it or not, then you just might start to like it after all.

Dandy-lion days!

Lydia and a friend..........they were a picture waiting to happen!

yay

I now have a 7 quart crock pot. Or 7 gallon? whatever.........I have a new one! I think I could fit at least 1/2 of a moose in it.
