Saturday morning. My sons. Caleb----Pastor/Preacher Daniel----Policeman

New!

My new see through phone. Not really. I take pictures on purpose so they can  be my home screen and lock screen. I would never use one that came with the phone. I don't download ZEDGE either. I make my own *ringers*. Not that I'm a fan of Johnny Cash....... but I sometimes wake up to him singing: "the best part of waking up, is Folger's in your cup!" This is my newest craft. I saw it on Pinterest....tried to pin it....our internet crashed, I went back and couldn't find it. So I had to just do it on my own.   I have some work to do....... I don't buy lots of seeds, but I did buy this white morning glory package from Lowe's. I stick seed packages in the cart while my husband buys glue and boards and electrical things. He says he sees me do it. He knows. The morning glory is on a plant no higher than "6 tall. I DID fix up the sunflower picture. I couldn't resist. The tree behin

Yellow Yellow

These are yellow pictures I took today.  I missed a few driving down the highway....like flowers and yellow cars....and now our yellow truck isn't here for me to take a picture, but there are plenty others! My Friday morning yellow flowers. My $1 water duck.  It's just handy. Rocks in a yellow pot in a crock. A ruffly yellow pot. This is the fabric I used for the retro dress I made. Size 6. I think the trees are already thirsty. I keep this by my cinder block garden to water the little squares with flowers growing in them. Gently. Gently. I guess somebody figured wide mouth coffee cups weren't a good idea. So now we decorate with them. Anybunny care for a cup of garden water? I can't for the life of me think of what this is called. It's kin to Moss Rose. Anything I can add to my gardens that is yellow, I do. I have a friend that loves yellow. I love purple. We call each oth

Boy Scouts

"They caved" was a comment on a Facebook link.  Why don't the gays just leave the Scouts alone?  Well, they're not going to.  This is even more proof that they aren't just a bunch of guys (or whatever they are)  just minding their own business and living their own lives.  They have an agenda and they will get in your face, they will disrupt things and they will wreak havoc.  This group of people don't just want their way, they want to have parades, special privileges, rights, acknowledgment,  minority status, weddings, church membership, adoption rights.....and they want us to be tolerant.   Before all of this started, parents should have been very careful about the activities their children were involved in.  Parents should have been monitoring the leaders, the hikes, the camp-outs, the programs. We should be on high alert in general when our kids are involved.  They need direction and security.  Wicked people are all around us.  They look like us, they dre

Saving Seeds

I am saving seeds from my flowers.......it's not that I won't have $5 next *seed buying time*, it's just FUN to save seeds.  I like to watch them while they're dying and drying.  In June you can stand by my front gardens and actually HEAR seeds snap-crackle-popping out of their shells.  Blue-bonnets can cast their seeds a yard away from themselves! If I have an especially pretty Larkspur, I mark the plant with yarn or twistie tie.  Once the flower dies and goes to seed, it's hard to remember which plant was pure white! These poppy seeds were just from a packet, but I'm saving them, too.  The little sunflowers come up on their own and are everywhere down here at this time of year. So far, this Larkspur gets the prize for being the most unusual color.  These seeds will surely go in a special envelope. The hollyhocks have been blooming for over a month.....and I am just now seeing how to get seeds from them.  They are all in a uniform circle
