A song for you all.......

1.The love of God is greater far Than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star And reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled And pardoned from his sin.O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure The saints' and angels' song. 2.When hoary time shall pass away, And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall; When men who here refuse to pray, On rocks and hills and mountains call; God's love, so sure, shall still endure, All measureless and strong; Redeeming grace to Adam's race— The saints' and angels' song. 3.Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made; Were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Though stretched from sky to sky.

Thursday Rhymes With Yay

What most you wish and long for Might only bring you pain; You cannot see the future, God's purpose to explain. So trust, faint heart, thy Master! He doeth all things well, He loveth more than heart can guess, And more than tongue can tell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yet, in the maddening maze of things, And tossed by storm and flood, To one fixed trust my spirit clings: I know that God is good! have a good Thursday

Only One Life

It matters so little How much you may own The places you've been Or people that you know For it all comes to nothing When placed at His feet It's nothing to Jesus Just memories to me You can take all the treasures From far away lands And take all the riches you can hold in your hands And take all the pleasures Your riches can buy But will it help When it's your time to die CHORUS Only one life So soon it will pass Only what's done for Christ will last Only one chance to do His will So give to Jesus all your days It's the only life that pays When you recall You have but one life The days pass so swiftly The months come and go The years melt away Like new falling snow Spring turns to summer Then summer to fall Autumn brings winter Then death comes to all CHORUS Only one life So soon it will pass Only what's done for Christ will last Only one chance to do His will So give to Jesus all your days It's the

zoop

see recipe on next post

ZOOP

One of the funnest things we do is make zoop . Not everybody has the ingredients. Some have the cold weather. Some might have a neat old pan. Some might have pretty flowers. Some might have a sidewalk on the North to sit the pan full of pretty flowers in the cold weather. We had all the ingredients this week. One inch of water, sprinkle it with the flowers that are left in your garden, put it on the coldest sidewalk on your property on the coldest night of the year. It will freeze, pry it out of the old pan with a fork and then you have zoop. It is mainly good just to take neato pictures. We don't eat it. We eat brownies and ice-cream.

hmmmmmmmmm

I have GOT to stop piddling.......or somebody is going to make a bronze statue out of me................

RanDOm

It's been REALLY cold around here. Bunny helping fold towels. Just plain old black and white me....... This is what our stove looked like when I was growing up. There was ALWAYS a skillet out waiting for a pork chop to be fried. I like to blog. I don't blog a lot. I am still struggling with pictures and cameras and ancient computers and cords and external hard-drives and photobucket and picasa web album and dead batteries and stuff like that. I made some headway today.........so maybe pictures will come more easy. The posts I made this evening aren't necessarily in order. One of these days I might make an effort to keep everything chronologically honest.........but not tonight.

Learning to Ice Skate

Lydia did VERY well for her first time. This would be a FUN place to go in July.......when it's hot outside and you need a cool breeze......but no, we were there the coldest day of the year so far. Next time I WILL bring my thermos of coffee. Decaff or not.....it just must be hot.
