Rabbit Trails

Our dining room is always decorated in Autumn, no matter what time of year it is.  I love the season and the decorations that go with it.  The paneling and dark tile in the dining room make for a good Autumn scene. Because of the places I tend to shop, I find Autumn decorations all year long.  I hate to pass up the ones I love.  One of them being this little Leaf Lady. My dad gave me the little brass pots and I got the little green plates from my favorite thrift store.  The brass pots fit inside each other and make a crooked stack.  I might pile things up, but I don't enjoy crooked. I've always like the four seasons in art, especially trees.  I was tickled when I found these little glass plates. (coasters?) Our next door neighbor gave this to me.  It's just a cute little pot.  It's empty for right now.

OK, it fell.  Now what should it do?

Rabbit Tails !!

Sara's rose is fixing to bloom! It is a beautiful color and smells like....perfume? Nasturtiums waiting for Spring. I hope there are mounds of them this coming Spring.   I think it gets prettier every day! The neighbor cat. We call him Funny Face. We should call him King. He truly acts like he owns the whole block. More Blooms! Shamrocks!

Happy Autumn Days to you all !! If you look closely, you can see a leaf in flight in the last picture! Yesterday the tree in our back yard was snowing yellow . Don't you think it was very nice of the across the street neighbors to paint their house solid AUTUMN?  !!

the new top of our freezer.......we're working on Autumn little bits at a time in the dining room one of my favorite things.........it is an oversized coffee mug full of plastic cookies. i think plastic cookies are hilarious. see the little picture in the back to the right? it is Lydia from a LONG time ago. I caught the sun behind her head and she is just glowing. the picture to the left was hand painted by Olivia
