Rabbit Trails

Not very many people have a best bosom buddy.......then that bosom buddy's daughter marries your son.....then they have a baby........then this baby has FIVE living grandmothers.........of one kind or another! my mom -great grandma Kim's mom -great grandma my husband's mom - great grandma Heather's mom- grandma ME! -grandmother I wish my mom could have been at the shower today........her presents were there, but not her presence. Kim and I share the same GRAND-DAUGHTER . I am just tickled.

This is such a lovely picture. Lots of us have waited for this day to come. A baby shower! Today was the big day. I know that the birth of a baby is celebrated, but somehow in my mind, I wanted to be able for all of us women to come together to celebrate! And we did! Alisa is such a precious present from the Lord.....I think Theresa's face says it all, don't you? Alisa's birth was rather windy, IKE will be part of her birth story.........the members of our church were scattered all over Texas right after her birth.........we waited 6 weeks for the party........I can hardly put into words how thankful I am to the Lord for seeing fit to give Caleb and Heather such a sweet blessing......
