Yesterday

I've been cleaning a lot of things lately. Today I went through some pictures.   The first picture is of two grown women, that used to be little girls, of course. I babysat these two girls. A lot. The one on the left was just a couple months old when she came into my life. These two girls are the first kids I ever really took care of, and spent so much time with. Their parents were wonderful to me.... and I enjoyed being with all of them. I think about them often, and wonder how they are doing. And wonder if they think about me.     This little girl is Jenny Sue. She was adopted. She is the first kid I think about when I think about adoption. I must have graduated and moved away and became very important.....because I don't remember much more about Jenny Sue. I just know her adopted mother was SO glad to get a little daughter.    Everybody in America, had a 4th grade teacher. I bet not very ...

3 Strikes, You're OUT

this is NOT going to work.   1. Fruit Punch (the worse flavor in the world next to raspberry) 2. Kool Aid (no kid ought to be brought up this stuff, sugar and food coloring) 3. Blonde Oreo (what's up with that?)   don't buy these things don't support their dumb inventions

What I bought one day.....

I have always been afraid to buy pineapples because we didn't have any sharp knives.  Well, now we do have sharp knives.  These were two dollars each....recently then went down to $1.50........then last week they were 99cents.  Do you buy pineapple? When Lydia and I play Yahtzee, we need Sweetarts.  It just helps.  What games were you brought up playing? These are effective.......and very nice to have.  Lydia got her braces off recently, but I think I will keep buying them.  It's a green and white luxury. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.  A Thursday morning at Kroger.  They had all of these Mrs. Meyer's cleaners marked way down.  I got all but a few.  I thought I might leave some so somebunny else could enjoy the low price.  I LOVE Mrs. Meyer's stuff........my sister got me a bottle of Radish dish washing soap.  It smells peppery.  Lovely. I am liking empty spray bottl...

Why No Blog Posts?

Why haven't I been blogging?  It isn't a shortage of things going on.  Or beautiful sunrises.  It isn't a shortage of beautiful blue skies.... Or new windows.... Or new purple shoes..... Or dandelions in the front yard. Bunny and Sheba will always be available  for a good *pet* picture..... Alisa will be around to do dishes in her cheetah gown for Grandmother..... I have plenty of little friends and big friends to write about.... We're still playing games with family and friends..... I'm still eating donuts! SEE.  Bunny and Sheba prove that little and big can get along! I'm still doing crafty things........... Yesiree!  Things are always hopping around here......I just am not blogging about it. Blogging is like a KING size *Show and Tell* opportunity.  Bloggers can share their good times, recipes, sunrises, flowers, gifts, knowledge, hymns, crafts, verses, aprons, breakfast, poems, books, holiday...

manual

I've decided I like manual things better than things you plug in.  Not everybunny knows what manual means though.  I guess the word isn't used much anymore.  I like roll down by hand windows.  I like hand held put in the drawer when you're done can openers.  I like clothes lines instead of dryers.  I'd rather wash dishes by hand than put them in a dishwasher. I'm very thankful for the things in my life that make it easier, like washing machines and toasters.  But things break.  If you plug it in, there's a bigger chance it will go on the blink, blow a fuse, snap, fizzle, get a short or ruin a part that cannot be replaced.  Like a laptop.  Like my laptop.  There's no substitute for them like a hand held beater instead of an electric mixer.  A piano instead of a cd player.  You can't make something else take the place of your computer, unless maybe you have internet on your phone, and you haven't dropped it in the ocean lat...

this and that

So, I get up this morning, and the rag-rug fairy tied all my rag-rug pieces together and had them wound in a nice ball.  I think I will leave more out tonight and see if it can happen again. OK.  I like Ross now.  These shoes were $1.49.  Purple velvet DUCK SHOES.  IN MY SIZE.  My plans are to go into that store every time I get groceries from now on.  Can't beat $1.49 for some of the neatest shoes in the world. I have seen this in a couple of places on blogs and the internet in general.  I was fully planning on ordering one....but our Kroger store had them for $12 something.  We've made 6 or 7 cups of coffee with this in our K-pot....and I am tickled to have it. I can now buy fun kinds of ground coffee.....not to say that Wal-Mart store brand decaff is a fun brand, but it's what I always used to drink.  And I lived. These are useful, not beautiful.  I need useful when I garden.  I bought some very low cost sni...

heh heh heh

I wouldn't mind meeting the person that designs carpet for motels/hotels.

New Picasa

When digital cameras came into being..... Olivia started putting them on our computer. On Picasa. I thought everybunny did Picasa.... just like I thought everybunny studied Kansas history in 4th grade. If you don't have a picture program,  Picasa is free and fun. They just added all sorts of things you can do with  your pictures. You can *1960* them. Put them in frames. Put a soft color on the outskirts of your picture. You can brighten things up. I love digital cameras. They are very sympathetic to mistakes. This is one of the few places in life that you can make a mistake..... and delete it. And it's really gone. That's why we should be so careful with our life. Ponder The Path Of Thy Feet God can and will forgive, but the consequences of your sin won't disappear. Friends and family can and will forgive, but the consequences of your sin won't disappear. A ruined life takes one day at a time, just like a life that pleases God. One day at a time. Col...
