Marigold

Just a pretty garden picture..........

Lydia and the Bunny

This is my rabbit, Patchouli. I guess rabbits put Lydia to sleep..............

Yesterday in the 24 Hour Garden

This has got to be the most flutteriest butterfly I have ever seen. It was flittering around on the flowers so much, I don't know how it ever got anything to eat.

Lydia and my hair.........

I was doing Lydia's school yesterday at the table we call 'old', and I had her brush my hair. The chair I was sitting in made me just the right height to do so.........This was her first 'design', the second was a braid around my forehead.........and then I fell asleep sitting there. I had to go take a nap. Remind me in the future to NOT have anybody brush my hair when I'm trying to think. I DID get her school done btw.

I'm waiting............

Sadly, our neighbor cut down the trees that shed these leaves. It was beautiful while it lasted.

Almost 2

The twins are fixing to be two years old. Sure wish I could see them more often. :(

I spy a ....................

Good Morning

Hope you all have a IGOTAWHOLELOTDONE type of day today! feel free to elaborate!!!!!

Goldilocks?

Olivia and the 4 Chairs..........yes, we went to the ocean again. As you can see, nobody was around us. It was because of all the seaweed. It didn't smell very good. But once you were there for a while, you got used to it.

Salt Grass Steakhouse............

Daniel took James and I out to eat today. He got to drive all the way to Pearland and back. Going fast. It rained off and on. I think he did pretty good. We also went to Super Target to get a Starbuck's coffee. Thanks, Daniel.

Where shall I hang my new dress?

On the twig of a tree? On a wooden peg? On a door? With the vines?

Just a Bunny

This is a picture of a postcard. I didn't get a new bunny. (My Millie didn't look anything like this since she was a REX....her whiskers were rather curly. I miss her.)

Character Building Books

These are the books we have gotten over the years of home-schooling. Lessons From the Clock.....Careless or Tidy? Doing My Best My Lips God Gives Us Work........Father Has Work Mother Has Work Always Behave Cheerfully.......an alaphabet book on 'behaving' (never forget neatness) My Thank You Book......What do you say When your father takes time to repair your poor Broken trike....... (this is a poem book) Happy Helpers..........playing, setting the table, cleaning up supper God's Happy Family....make beds, help with sisters, help in garden....puts working and helping in a good light! Helping Mother.........singing while gathering toys.......this is a book that your child could color Those books are all Rod and Staff and are under $3.00 Being a Boy / Being a Girl from Pearables boys are strong, they are supposed to work.......also tells what a woman's place is Polite books are from Plain Path Publishers/ all scripture is KJV/

How do you look at this?

Do you see a kitty that is in a bowl of warm cream and is drinking until it is happy? Or do you see a kitten that fell into a cold bowl of milk and doesn't like it one bit?

Thrifty Cold Coffee

Pour coffee into a travel cup or mug....it needs a good lid since it will be in the fridge overnight. While the coffee is still hot, add your cream and flavorings. If you wait until the morning when it is cold, it won't mix up as well. I use plain Wal-mart dry creamer and may or may not use sweet stuff every time. Put the cup in the fridge........where it won't get knocked over. In the morning, just add ice and stir. It works for me!
