Good Bye 2010

Good-bye Failures. Good-bye Sad Things. Good-bye Busy Days. Breezy Days. Good-bye Days Filled With Music. And fun. Good-bye to days that were kind of like my old bike. Nothing very shiny. Good-bye to days that I didn't have enough hands...... Bye to days I should have been more faithful and loyal. bye to many good memories Good-bye to days we just stayed home......... .......the days we just ate plain food. Good-bye to the days I didn't keep my mouth shut...... good bye to the days I did. 2010 It was the worse of times. It was the best of times.

Servant? Humble?

Indian lay down blanket. Indian lay down pipe. Indian lay down tomahawk. Indian lay down Indian. Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. 1 Peter 5:5 .....and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. I think what separates us from doing things for people, and being a true humble servant, is MOTIVE. Others may not be able to put their finger on it, OR be able to put it into words.... but the Lord ponders all of our goings. How often and *I* really a servant?
If it weren't for Mondays, there would be no Tuesdays.

Mississippi Amelia !!

We love to stop at rest stops. And drink their coffee. The tree outside Applebee's. It was beautiful. Kimberly's Mug. Sweet Little Amelia Scene from Sara's back door. Looks like she lives in the mountains or summpin. Sara, Lydia, Amelia If Thomas knew I was doing laundry, he always helped. HEB Super Super Busy It was wild in there. Last stop before home. Bought holiday goodies. Had family over Friday night. Kelly family on Saturday. I am so sorry for those that are lonely this time of year. I can't imagine it. The Lord has blessed my life in so many ways. Friends, Family, Church, Health, A Home Plenty.

Our Wonderful Van

Our New Table

I got this for a song.  It is an old card table.  Our other ones are in terrible shape.  They were also old when we bought them and they have all sorts of battle scars.  Paint, grill marks, drill holes and the usual wear and tear.  This one will probably stay in the house where it will be safe.  Too bad I don't like to do puzzles, it would be just perfect.  Right now, in our dining room, we could have 20 friends over and they would all get a chair AND be at a table.  One shouldn't really start a table collection though.........

Gardens

The world has different owners at sunrise.... Even your own garden does not belong to you. Rabbits and blackbirds have the lawns' a tortioise-shell cat who never appears in daytime patrols the brick walls, and a golden-tailed pheasant glints his way through the iris spears. A.M. Lindbergh

Regrets?

Can you ever remember a time when you regretted  having said a kind word?

Picnic

PICNIC Upon this theme I'll briefly touch Too far To go To eat Too much. A.A. Lattimer

Crocodile/Alligator One has a bigger mouth but you can't tell the difference in the end.

Today December 17, 2010

Sara's rose is fixing to bloom! It is a beautiful color and smells like....perfume? Nasturtiums waiting for Spring. I hope there are mounds of them this coming Spring.   I think it gets prettier every day! The neighbor cat. We call him Funny Face. We should call him King. He truly acts like he owns the whole block. More Blooms! Shamrocks!
