December 31

Ask me if we've had a warm winter so far..... I decided to not *touch up* these pictures.  I guess they are pretty without my nifty little picture program. A blooming aloe vera....actually three, but only one got in the picture. A little bit of lettuce.  I read a book......the first chapter was: write a letter.  The second was: plant lettuce. I wish I could find it to see what I should do next. Now THIS is strange.  A PINK-bonnet in December.  It's almost a foot tall. Might as well have a blue one, too. As you see, the zinnia plant next to it needs to be pulled.  They are tired and done with trying to bloom. My favorite wildflower!!  Henbit.  Got some growing in a pot. This is the under side of what was supposed to be a black hollyhock...........I don't know if it will make it through a possible freeze? The upper side of the hollyhock......I don't think it is supposed to look like this....... Got m...

Sheba and Bunny

Sheba hates it when Bunny goes in her room and won't come out to play. Sheba waits at the door. Maybe staring at Bunny makes her feel bad. It must work. Here comes Bunny to play. They would be really sad without each other. Bunny hates it when Sheba goes to the bank.

Wafer Dip

OK This was good. After the winter party, a few women asked if they could take some of this home with them. 1 large can un-drained crushed pineapple 1 container cool-whip 1 instant pudding mix (I used coconut....but had banana and cheesecake) mix together and chill use with Vanilla Wafers I'm not much on recipes, but when I find what we call a  *keeper* I think everybunny should know. !!

#3 Biscuits

I call them #3 Biscuits because there are only THREE ingredients.   mayo milk self rising flour 1 cup milk 2 cups self rising flour 2 huge spoonfuls of mayo Mix together.....place dough on a floured cookie sheet and then form into a rectangle. Don't make the rectangle too big.... you don't want the biscuits to be thin. Cut into appox. 8 pieces and sort of separate them before baking. 425 until browned just a little! you.must.try.these. add jelly

Easy Meatballs

These turned out really good for me. I would suggest these things....be SURE to use a good ground beef.....be sure to spray the tin foil so they won't stick like mine did.......buy a name brand whole cranberry sauce.  I used a meat thermometer to see if mine were done.  Click on the recipe to make it larger and easier to read.

Winter Party 2012

We have our tree outside this year.   It's perfectly shaped and free.   Next year we will need a ladder to put lights on it.   I got this little glass tree at a sale down the street. There could be a sale in DECEMBER because it was 80 and Spring-like out. I like crystal and glass decorations. It snowed right in our doorway. It's the kind that will last all season. It's also the kind that won't melt when it's 80 out. Before the party.............. We first had a devotion about the Proverbs 31 Woman and what we should REALLY want this time of year. It IS the *most wonderful time of the year* any time you are obedient to what the Lord wants from you as a woman. We had a candle exchange........ we all brought one concealed in wrapping paper and  went home with a different one! Then we ate. And ate. The food was ALL very party like. Just perfect. It was so good to be with our wo...

December in Freeport

Well, color has come to our area. In December. I can't say I've been enjoying the weather. It's been Spring-Like.... which means it's been warm, humid, and in the 80's and the air conditioner is on. I've been busy. Evidently too busy to blog. I just can't understand anybunny ever being bored. The days are packed and there's treasure everywhere. What have you been doing?
