Rabbit Trails

This is my newest craft. It is a mumbunny. Actually, right now, it is blind and mum. It needs eyes...........it is a quiet toy for your kiddos to play with. I tried a regular old Mum Family with ears...........and it worked. I have a litter waiting to be fixed up.

This is not the lovliest thing I have ever done, but it wasn't too bad. Just like the old saying goes.......there is no bad weather, only improper clothing. There is no bad berry picking, just bad clothing. I look like granny moosh mosh, but I didn't get thorns and scratches! These berries were on the side of a hill RIGHT beside the ocean. Ain't that crazy? The pan I dropped my lovely little berries in was the very pan I was brought up with. It is the pan my mom made macaroni and cheese in, boiled gizzards and gravy, potato soup and mashed potatoes. It is aluminum so I don't use it anymore.

Look what I found at a thrift store! They cost me five cents! Three lovely hearts........they are secretly measuring cups............

We got a new feeder and we were just waiTInG for the first hummer of the year! Sunday the 27th during lunch............yay.

This picture is the opposite of what this week is going to be like at our house.

This is an aerial view of my bunnies. quack. Does anybody know the name of this quilt pattern? My Great Aunt Freida made me one with blue fabric when I was very young. It fell apart because I used it so much. She made one for my cousin, too. My mom had her make another one for me, but she made it square instead of rounded. Jolly in black and white.

This is a neat old pan........I found the pan.........then found the lid. It was a perfect fit. The little wire basket is full of all kinds of gadgets. The bread box is from the dreadful era of the late 60's. It's a dreadful gold.

This spot was being taken over by a jungle plant out of a little bitty pot. It was choking the fence and everything else. There are probably still roots that will grow the same plant, so I will just have to watch for them. I like it better without all the greenery. I planted a little potted tree and some seeds a friend sent me......and a few shamrocks. some old pots......... Nasturtiums make me smile.

Welcome to my new, uh, template? The blog is the same, only the template has been changed. I miss the clover on my old template, but I'm glad now to have archives........which I call Historical Bunny Blogs..........and labels which are called Trails. I still have 150 posts to label so the whole blog will be easy to........trail. I hope to have made it easy for all of you (as I've said before, the millions of you) to find anything on my blog, easily. *just for fun* and *collections* is just ONE click away. I'm still working on getting some pictures in the sidebar. When will you just be able to 'cut and paste' a picture?

I got a glass Bluebird of Happiness today at a thrift store. I've seen them for years in nicer gift stores. Now I have one. I really haven't even needed it! THEN, Kimberly saw this bird in our feeder and we got some good pictures!!!! It's always exciting to see a colorful bird! It came twice to the feeder!!!!!

maybe if I sneak just a few pictures in at a time, they will show up. we first went to an airplane museum. it was a painful thing for me to go through, but I knew better things were coming! then we went to the Titanic Exhibit. the gift shop was closed. the girl called in sick. SO THEY JUST CLOSED THE STORE. ugh. daniel wanted a t-shirt.

we really do keep cookies in the copper colored tin and we do keep bread in the green and cream pastry keeper the top drawers of this cabinet (I gave $3 for it) is where I keep my recipes minus one recipe book which has totally disappeared.

my drawer full of old table-cloths and pot-holders and kitchen doo-dads old cookbooks I will never use.......I just look at them! an old ice container........now it's full of eggs...........
