Brown Oatmeal Bread (easy, but not quick)

If you like a heavier bread with a little texture, then this is the recipe for you!
I baked it for thirty-five minutes, and should have kept it in a little longer.
Five more minutes?
(I now put the dough in two regular size pans and one small, they all bake better and are not quite so dense)
Yes, you do have to knead it three times, but it is worth it.

Michele, I know a Shirley Huston, where did you get the recipe? On Monday, Nov.14 is our anniv. of 33years to celebrate. At church tonight we had a couple that has been married 52yrs. and they renewed their wedding vows after the eve. service, Her husband gave it to her as a gift. Kristi, your sister.

Wow, Kristi. I'm not sure where I got it. Would she have put it in a local cook book, (fund raising kind?) and then I got the cook book and cut it out?
I wish I had some of this bread on a plate right now. YUM.

Michele, this recipe is from the 50th anniversary cookbook from Medora Community Bible church and Shirley Huston IS a friend of mine. Did I give you the cookbook? or did you see it at my house once?Thats so funny you tried it, I will have to tell her the next time she is in the store. Kristi
