I hear you and I understand! (just noticed prior to coming to your blog that you're not on Twitter anymore.....coincidence? I think not!) I joined Twitter for the simple joy of keeping in touch with my adult children when they are out of the house; now it seems I have changed my habits and I'm thinking of what others might think of my updates; kinda lost the whole beauty of the 'tool' in that way. I still love reading what my son is doing in OK and that makes the service worth it. I don't twitter in church service though.

I mainly got on twitter so I could communicate with Daniel and Olivia and one other friend.......now I have texting on my phone and I'm connecting that way. It's fun to know what everybody is doing off and on during the day.....twitter or text. whatever!!!
and no, we shouldn't use our witty inventions during church.
what bad manners that is.......

I linked to this article on my blog in the 'Worth the Read' section, I thought it was really good.

I've decided not to use Facebook or Twitter at this point because I just don't want to go down that road. Blogging is social-networking enough for me.

I sound like an old fuddy-duddy but I don't text or even have my cell phone on. I have a cell phone and I use it for emergencies and free long-distance. I figure I'm not a doctor so I don't need to be on-call 24/7. (o;

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory! FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have alw...
