I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used. You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on. You were such a fun little girl to read to. I am putting up herbs, tomato, green bean, okra and some peppers today. Sounds like good makings for vegetable soup! Have a GREAT Texas Day too!

Thanks for hopping over to see me today! Collards are a vegetable grown in all southern gardens in our neck of the woods. For over 20 years (not sure) our little town has a festive celebrating the Collard. We have rides, crafts, a parade, a collard eating contest, a collard cooking contest, bands, and dancing in the street. This is the first time it has been rained out. Hanna has stopped all fun.
