Good Morning Texas!

I am putting up herbs, tomato, green bean, okra and some peppers today. Sounds like good makings for vegetable soup! Have a GREAT Texas Day too!

Love from NJ!

Well, I got clothes on the line, but it looks like they might get rained on! I'm trying to make a skirt from a pattern I saw in a book, and so far all I'm making is a mess...but I think it'll work out. I hope you guys had a great afternoon!

I had a good day. I got a lot of housework done, grocery shopping, some laundry (I don't have a clothes line so I use a dryer) and some reading too. Unfortunately my son had a bad day at school :(

Hey Mo,

Thanks for hopping over to see me today! Collards are a vegetable grown in all southern gardens in our neck of the woods. For over 20 years (not sure) our little town has a festive celebrating the Collard. We have rides, crafts, a parade, a collard eating contest, a collard cooking contest, bands, and dancing in the street. This is the first time it has been rained out. Hanna has stopped all fun. If you would like to see or know more check here:

One of your dear lady friends mentioned collards. NO laughing, BUT I got some collards in my farm share this past week and I don't know what to do with them.

Any suggestions?
