new outfit

We have had this skirt forever.......it has been a really hard skirt to find a top for.....you know the kind........you get a skirt and look at it for 7 years and wish you had a top to go with it type skirt.........

so I made one for it..........I have found that I can do this particular pattern.........

I used to be afraid to do elastic around the neck.....but it isn't so bad.

Now I can do it with my eyes closed, but I doubt I ever need to.......so I won't.

Hi, I found you on another blog, and thought I'd 'hop' over!
I like the top..it reminds me of the one I made in home-ec in school...the one and only year I took home-ec...I'm mechanically challenged, and didn't get along well with the sewing machine!
