It 'is' funny to me only because I have done the same thing!! And because I laugh at things that maybe shouldn't be laughed at.... :o...:)

I would not have laughed at first. But Jeremy would have said something funny and made me laugh about it.

I was the one who did it! At the time it was not very funny at all, but then Olivia said "ohhh lets take a picture of it." Then I kind of snickered, then she asked what was so funny? Laughter is contagious........

I didnot believe at first it was real. I thought it was one of those joke things like the nail polish had on it that time but now I am not so sure. I fall for anything though. If Its true I am sorry but I still can't believe it is true. I am not sure Daniel would still be able to laugh about it and I can't see him being so careless. Oh, what do I know? Is it real? That is what I want to know. lol Grandma

It WAS real. It was on top of the microwave and Daniel opened the cabinet door, and plop, in the bowl it went.

Oh, I am so sorry. Don't you think that it kind of looks life the stuff the nail polish was sitting in on your piano around christmas time? It does look like a big mess. I am glad Daniel is still alive and smiling. That would be a great loss. lol Grandma

a great loss.......do you mean the camera or Daniel?

Sometimes when one is heavily involved in cooking and trying to document the journey with pictures it's easy to forget there are other people in the house that might knock your camera off of where you have it sitting.

It smelled like chocolate for a while, and was a bit sticky, but it doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear. :) At least my cameras get dropped in interesting places and into interesting things. . .

Daniel of course, he is one of a kind, a very good kind. A camera it can always be replaced. If one had to go, I am so glad it was the camera.Grandma

Olivia, all by herself, dropped another digital camera in General Lee's kitchen. It crashed to the brick floor and the batteries went a rollin. We had to get a 'park' ranger to undo the gate so we could get the camera off the floor. Boy were our faces red.

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory! FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have alw...
