Busy! Busy! Terribly Busy!

Somebunny asked me if I was OK.  I am totally OK, just busy.  Or just not feeling very bloggy.

Been to church every night this week to hear Brother Wayne Hudson preach......

I've been enjoying my flowers!  A hummingbird came to visit the other day.....it let me spray it with the hose and it perched on my hollyhock!

Heading for Kansas to see my parents for a week.  Haven't seen them for a year.
I am glad to be going in October......mom said it might *frost*.  I'm going to roll in it.

Flowers are pretty. I have those spider lilies? in the back yard. They come up over the septic tank. I have one in the front. Have fun at your mom's!

Hmmmmm. Came back here to check in. I seriously thought I'd commented here when you first assured us that you were OK - just busy....

You must be in KS now - where I'd love to be! Are you wearing those yellow shoes, or what is the story?

I saw the little yellow shoes at a thrift store and ONLY took a picture of them. I didn't buy them...but wanted to. A week later I went back and they were still there. I bought them.....brought them home and they look just dandy in my dining room.

The red flowers are not spider lilies.....don't know what their real name is....I call the Surprise Flowers. They pop up after a good rain.

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory! FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have alw...
