the ingredients are added differently........so it makes the outside of the cake......well......

you need sprinkles for this cake
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
6 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
mix in this order:
all sugar
shortening
3 eggs
1 cup flour
3 eggs
1 cup flour
300 degree oven
this should fit in two bread loaf pans nicely
bake until it is barely brown on the top
30 to 40 minutes
don't forget to sprinkle the top before baking

3 sticks margarine-----------softened
8 ounces cream cheese--------softened
2 1/2 cup sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
add in that order
I use a hand mixer
325 oven
fits in two bread loaf pans
30 to 40 minutes
check for done-ness with toothpick
