How to walk around a river...........

We start at the first X on the right......head West, go AROUND the river, almost get to the library, then turn around.  That's how you walk around a river.  It's about two miles.  Part of it is nice sidewalk and part is sand poured on top of a cracked sidewalk.  I get rocks in my shoes but I bear it until we get home.  My husband can't believe how many rocks ONE person can get in their shoes.

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory!
