RAIN Rain rain

 It finally rained.
Now I will remember that our new Burger King opened about the same time
that it finally rained.
I was kind of afraid to walk across the yard too fast for fear
I'd start the grass on fire.
It was nice to hear my rain music again!
My flowers were droopy because of the rain.....
But they will perk up again!
Sara's rose drinking up the rain-drops.
A sky full of happy sunflowers.

We could use some good ole rain... the smoke of the wildfires from lightning strikes is hanging heavy around our county tonight... still haven't put anything out to make some rain music and I know the perfect place to do this would be on our air conditioner that sits under my bedroom window. Maybe tomorrow...

Hi there! Thanks for dropping by my place. Glad you got some rain, too! It had been two months since it had rained here. Our grass was brown and we were having to water twice a day to keep our flowers well and blooming.Your flowers certainly look happy! :-) Hope you will visit again!

FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have alw...
