I don't like tea, but..................

I went anyway.

It was not a large affair, like maybe the one in San Antonio or Washington D.C., but it was still worth going to.

I signed a tea-bag, Olivia texted fed-up at the appointed time, we clapped, but I couldn't bring myself to wave the sign somebody gave me.
I'm evidently not a sign waver.
Now I know.
It's a pitiful thing to see how the news networks are dealing with what went on in America yesterday.
They'll broadcast, with great pride, marches down public streets of 'gay rights' people, but they somehow ignore all the Americans that were out yesterday?
And the few that will be shown will be in a negative light.

Why do I keep being surprised at these things?

They think that if they ignore you... you will go away... Our local news is showing all the protests from their viewing area... and there were at lot of people out protesting... I'm so proud of you for going...

Good for you for going! My parents went to one and remarked how clever the signs were and how friendly the people were.

The 'left' want to make us look like mobs that break bottles over heads and light cars on fire.

One of the reactions from the media here were they made fun of those that came out because "we", conservatives, did not know how to protest. We were just too nice.

Isn't that something? They were acutally laughing and poking fun at that.

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory! FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have always been interested in the *family tree*, dates, p
