I love skies like this........so blue, so white. I always tried to paint pictures of trees against a sky when I was in high school. I never mastered it. Trees are even beautiful without leaves. I didn't mess with any of these pictures. They are just as I took them. I read somewhere that digital photography has taken some of the fun out of 'pictures'. We can take 50 pictures of the same thing and it doesn't cost any money, we can change color, size, shape, brightness. Remember when you took THREE pictures at a party? When you used ONE roll of film while opening presents. You gotta love those 110 cameras............and flash cubes. Pictures are not what they used to be. I don't know if I'm sad or not because I enjoy taking pictures.......for free........but one day I might find myself missing pictures in a BOOK.

And I quite agree with you--I miss having pictures in a 'book' too. That's my only complaint with digital cameras.
I don't mess with 'fixing' my pictures though--no wonder everyone else's pictures look so much better than mine! (o;
There is something so nostalgic about blue sky with puffy white clouds!
We have so much ice fog that we can't see the lights ahead of us more than a couple car lengths. I was white-knuckled today while driving to town.
I love your sky and tree pictures!!!
