Welcome Home, Birthday Girl! :D

I had a dream the other night...that you stopped by my house on your way home (you know, because everyone goes through California on their way from Kansas to Texas), and you brought some relatives, and neighbors, too. I was excited, but frantic because I'd been wearing my ***WORLD'S MOST PERFECT SKIRT EVER*** every day and it wasn't clean for your visit. :hb: But I came out anyway and hugged the relatives and neighbors FIRST because they were strangers and you are FRIENDS. :D

Don't Be Idle

This is Zephyr. She is the most discontent, unhappy cat I've ever seen in my life. She is selfish plain and simple. All she can think about is HER belly. This is not done in silence. When I get up (early), she's been up for hours wasting away. She's died of starvation 8 times. Don't be like Zephyr. My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory!
