This is the cat that didn't work out. We named her Clara...........for a few short days she was at our house.......hiding, running, ears back, tail twitching.........

Those bluebonnets in the post before this look really like a weed we have here called a "Lupine"!

booklover, they do resemble lupines, but these are authentic Texas Blue-Bonnets......and Pink-Bonnets! They came out of the garden this year and into the yard....and Daniel was very careful not to mow them down. You can smell their perfume wafting on the breeze!

Don't Be Idle

This is Zephyr. She is the most discontent, unhappy cat I've ever seen in my life. She is selfish plain and simple. All she can think about is HER belly. This is not done in silence. When I get up (early), she's been up for hours wasting away. She's died of starvation 8 times. Don't be like Zephyr. My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory!
