Rabbit Trails

I want to find a dress pattern that works. I am liking Mom Walton and the way she dresses. Just a plain dress in pretty fabric. Why don't women want to look feminine? It's such a glorious thing. To look nice, pretty, and feminine. So, I got the pattern at Hospice thrift store....and the fabric at SPCA thrift store. I think that's what I will do tonight. Sew myself a dress.

I didn't have any zinnias last year to speak of, so I'm pretty excited about the ones I have right now!   I think this must be from a wildflower mix...........and this must be the only one that grew.   This has been my favorite Larkspur this Spring...........because it is two colors.  Two pretty colors!   This reminds me of an old fashioned dress............I'm glad I've got pictures of this because you certainly cannot KEEP these forever in the garden or in a vase.   I'm gathering larkspur seeds right now............I shake the flower stalk to see if any are ready!  It's the reward of pulling weeds and getting bit by red ants........the rattling of seeds ready to be stored away for next season.   THIS WAS A SCARY SCARY BUG.  SCARY.   There was a *Day-Lily* show at our mall on Saturday..........I didn't see mine there.  These are nice, but not really something I would choose.     This isn't reall...

Daniel graduates from Police Academy with the second highest test score in the class.   He also won the *Top Gun* award........   Our favorite police.........(on the right)   What a happy evening!   Lots of friends were there to enjoy the occasion.   I was pretty proud of Daniel for doing so well........it's always good to see good fruit of home-school efforts. Top Gun trophy and Lydia (Daniel probably sold cookies to the trophy maker in town years ago!)     Klarisa, Daniel's wife has worked full time so Daniel could go to school and have good time to study.  I'm proud of her too........   Off to have some snacks and fellowship. We got Daniel a rechargeable flashlight.  He passed the Tclose? (State of Texas Exam)  test yesterday (Monday).......he needed a 70 and got 86.  He is now ready for a job...........his good boss and Christian friend will employ him back at the plants until someth...
