I wish my mom had a computer.............

I would love for my mom to be able to see how this little plant is doing.  She calls them *Ice Plants*.  She says they are the last to freeze..........she has them planted in a long cow feeder...up off of the ground.  Their yard is FILLED with mole-holes.......they will ruin anything nice that she puts in the ground, but they can't touch her Moss Rose, Hen and Chicks and Ice Plant in the cow feeder.  She gave me some of this a few years back and I put it in water when I got home, hoping it would make some roots.  The only thing that happened is the plant got mooshy and kind of expired.  This year in September, I brought some home and just stuck it in the dirt....and look at how happy it is!  It's nice to get flowers from seeds and the store, but it's MUCH nicer to get them from somebunny you love.

I wish your mom had a computer too... funny that your first plants died because you 'cared' too much!! I love that my mom has a computer. We live three hours away and it's nice to be able to 'show' her stuff that I'm up to.. most of the time, when I blog, I am blogging with her in mind. :o)

And most of the time I blog with Pen Pen in mind. I wish my mom had a computer. Ha ha.. but I watch for our grandchildren's pictures and print her out some from time to time. When she visits we always go to the computer so she can see what her family has been up to. I love your plant, and like you most of the flowers in my yard were given to me by friends. Isn't it nice to be able to remember the friends when they bloom each year?

I just told somebunny today how we have lots of things in our yard from a dear lady. I have a *potted plant* that literally turned into a tree that is taller than the house, rose bushes, two flowering bushes and irises from her. She is with the Lord now....and I am so glad I took everything she offered me. Yes, plants from others are SPECIAL.

My Favorite Child

I wish I had all the pictures I wanted, to go with this blog post........because I know a *picture paints a thousand words*, but for a large part of our family's life, old fashion cameras and old fashion pictures were being used.  So, many of the pictures that would help paint this post are somewhere in boxes and books.  It would take a month of Sundays to find them all so  I will just have to count on your imagination and my memory! FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have always been interested in the *family tree*, dates, p
