gone junkin............

This is my latest find on the side of the road. I passed by it three or four times and just couldn't leave it laying there anymore. It only needed a minor fix, and now I have an Aunt Gladys chair. She had one similar to this by the bathroom door at the house on 321 South Oak..........
Very retro, don't think?

I have that chair... I bought it red. My granny had a red one and I always sat in it at the table, bc I was short. It bumped me right up with the grown-ups.
I found my red one at a flea market... and I painted it blue.

I LOVE your chair!! Enjoy it. :)

Feb.25, Michele, when you were at my house you probably didn't see that I have a yellow chair also, only I bought mine at Target, but I really wouldn't have minded finding one on the side of the road also. Is it sittable? I use mine for Ethan to get up to the eating bar and it works just perfect.I would like a red one too! Love Kristi

Yes, it is sittable.........we just don't need it in the house because we have other old chairs EVERYWHERE!
I think it would be nice if somebody? would kinda sandpaper the rust off of the legs.

My Favorite Child

FAVORITE: most liked, preferred above all others Sara, you were my favorite.  You were our first baby and we were so excited for you.  Your hair was perfect for me to learn how to braid and you always were very still for me.  You were the first little girl I got to dress up and put lacy socks on.  You were such a fun little girl to read to.  You memorized the books we had and it was a big part of our day to read with each other.  *where is the bear when the wind blows cold?*.    You have always been interested in the *family tree*, dates, p
